It’s time to see what’s good over in the Bay Area!  Lil’ Elle is holdin’ it down in San Francisco (via DC) so I had to get her in on this one.  She’s a really dope DJ of all styles of music so I knew she’d have solid jams to share!  Here are her faves of 2012:

Azealia Banks – “212″
She has a sick flow and the tempo changes at just the right time, multiple times. This song had people turning heads asking “who is this?” constantly.

Frank Ocean – “Pyramids”
The RnB combined with some electronic and just a long and beautiful song, played this so much.

E-40 – “Function”
Being in the Bay, I saw this song destroy dancefloors way too often for me to leave it off my list. It was run back on several occasions. We out here tryin to function!

Jessie Ware – “Wildest Moments”
Such a great emotional song from my new favorite Brit vocalist. I played her album the most in 2012 but this was by far my favorite track.

Major Lazer – “Get Free”
This was getting stuck in my head before I even knew what it was. Major Lazer on another level with the sweet vocals and fun track.
